The Autism Spectrum Disorders Outcome Study and
Training Project is a collaborative project between Portland State University, the Oregon Department of Education, and numerous Oregon special education programs. This study is tracking the educational progress of children with autism spectrum disorders from the State of Oregon. Information collected is being used to improve services for children with autism spectrum disorders.

This project is now focusing on increased statewide access to effective approaches for educating children with autism. Over the last 4 years, 32 Regional Program Autism Training Sites have been implemented in classrooms across Oregon.
